Animated Marketing Email
The ask for this project was a marketing email recruiting for Acrobat’s community group. The email needed to be visually eye-catching, so we used an illustration Adobe commissioned by Jhonny Núñez.
To bring the illustration to life, I selected elements to animate. I wanted it to feel playful and fun. The animation needed to be a GIF that loops smoothly, and I specifically wanted it to be hard to tell when it restarts, so I told the motion designer that the movement can happen kinda randomly and at the same time. The elements that animate are the hand waves, eye blinks, foot taps, globe spins, arrow draws in, Acrobat logo pluses, and plant grows.
